DOZZE Customisation Terms & Conditions

These Customisation Terms & Conditions apply to all DOZZE products customised through our website, including products customised with text, names, logos, artwork, or other uploaded content (“Customised Products”). By placing an order for a Customised Product, you agree to these terms.

1. Customised products

A Customised Product is any DOZZE product that has been personalised at your request through our customisation tool or through any custom order process approved by DOZZE.

Customised products are made specifically for you, based on the content, design choices, and details you provide during the ordering process.

2. Personal use only unless agreed otherwise

Customised Products purchased through our website are intended for personal use, gifting, or internal business use unless otherwise agreed by DOZZE in writing.

Resale of Customised Products purchased through our direct-to-consumer website is not permitted unless we have expressly approved it in advance.

3. Your content

When creating a customised order, you may submit text, logos, graphics, images, or other material (“Your Content”) for possible use on the product.

You confirm that:

  • you own Your Content, or you have all necessary rights, permissions, and authority to use it
  • Your Content does not infringe any copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any third party
  • Your Content complies with these terms and all applicable laws and regulations

4. Prohibited content

DOZZE reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to reject, cancel, or refuse any customised order that includes content we consider inappropriate or non-compliant.

This includes, without limitation, content that:

  • infringes intellectual property rights
  • includes brand names, logos, or copyrighted material without permission
  • is false, misleading, fraudulent, defamatory, or unlawful
  • is abusive, threatening, hateful, discriminatory, or harassing
  • promotes violence, illegal activity, or harmful behaviour
  • is pornographic, obscene, sexually explicit, or otherwise offensive
  • promotes excessive drug or alcohol use
  • is political in nature, including support for a political party, campaign, or cause
  • may harm the reputation of DOZZE or suggest an association that we do not wish to make

DOZZE has the final say on whether submitted content is accepted for production.

5. Accuracy of your order

It is your responsibility to carefully review and approve all details before placing your order, including:

  • spelling
  • placement
  • orientation
  • chosen side(s)
  • uploaded artwork
  • product colour and size

DOZZE is not responsible for errors in the final Customised Product where those errors result from:

  • inaccurate or incomplete information provided by you
  • artwork or files supplied by you
  • design choices selected or approved by you

6. Engraving pricing

Customisation charges are applied per side.

  • Front side engraving: €10.00
  • Back side engraving: additional €10.00

If you choose engraving on both sides, the total engraving charge will be €20.00.

Any product price shown on the website is separate from the engraving charge unless clearly stated otherwise.

7. File upload requirements

Uploaded files must meet the technical requirements shown on our website or in the customisation tool, including supported file types and maximum file size.

For the best engraving result, we recommend simple, high-contrast artwork and vector files where possible. Very fine details, gradients, and overly complex artwork may not engrave well.

DOZZE reserves the right to reject files that are technically unsuitable for production.

8. Colours and previews

We do our best to present colours, finishes, and previews as accurately as possible.

However:

  • screen displays may vary between devices
  • digital previews are illustrative only
  • the final engraved result may vary slightly from what appears on screen

Minor differences in colour, scale, positioning, or finish that do not materially affect the product shall not be considered defects.

9. Right to refuse or cancel orders

DOZZE reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or suspend any customised order at any time, including where:

  • Your Content breaches these terms
  • we believe you do not have the right to use the submitted content
  • the file or design is not suitable for production
  • there is a pricing, technical, or system error
  • production of the requested design may expose DOZZE to legal, reputational, or operational risk

If an order is cancelled by DOZZE before production, any payment received for the cancelled customisation will be refunded.

10. No returns or exchanges

Because Customised Products are made specifically to your instructions, they are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund unless:

  • the product arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect due to an error by DOZZE, or
  • you are otherwise entitled to a remedy under applicable consumer law

Please review your customisation carefully before completing your purchase.

11. Warranty

Customised Products remain covered by DOZZE’s standard product warranty only in relation to defects in materials or workmanship, subject to our general warranty terms.

The warranty does not cover:

  • customer-provided spelling or design mistakes
  • low-quality or unsuitable uploaded artwork
  • issues caused by misuse, accidents, improper care, or normal wear and tear
  • dissatisfaction based on minor visual differences between the preview and the final product

If a customised item is found to be defective due to a manufacturing or DOZZE production issue, we may, at our discretion:

  • repair it
  • replace it with the same or a similar product
  • offer a partial or full refund

12. Licence to produce your order

By submitting Your Content, you grant DOZZE a limited, non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, resize, adapt, and process that content solely for the purpose of:

  • reviewing your design
  • producing your Customised Product
  • providing customer support relating to your order

DOZZE does not claim ownership of Your Content.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold DOZZE harmless against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising out of or related to:

  • Your Content
  • your breach of these terms
  • your violation of any third-party right

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DOZZE shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising out of or in connection with any Customised Product or these terms.

Our total liability in relation to any customised order shall not exceed the amount paid by you for that order.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on our website at the time of your order will apply to that order.
